Buy a cozy, send money to Haiti

All cozy sale proceeds at my Etsy shop this weekend will be donated to Partners In Health, an organization in Haiti that provides health care to the poor. Partners In Health began in Haiti and is now worldwide.

You can read the amazing story of Dr. Paul Farmer and PIH in the book "Mountains Beyond Mountains" by Pulitizer Prize-winning author Tracy Kidder. It's one of the most inspiring things I've ever read!

Learn more about Partners In Health and donate right from their website at http://www.pih.org/.

And don't forget to buy a cozy - get something cute and your money will go to help those in Haiti who need medical attention and basic living necessities.

Hi. Visiting from the colony. I always link my blog on my confessions and don't care who sees. I kind of hope the ones to which I referred today DO see it. =) Nice to meet ya!

Hi! I just read your confession - we were in the same situation though not with the ability, really, to homeschool. I loved the idea, he thought they'd turn out to be circus freaks, I knew better . . . I continue to work (love my job) and am in school, and though I love the benefits they might get from homeschooling, I think I'm past the point where I could provide it for them.

I do try to "after school" them - just adding to their education as I see fit. Lots of library books, talks, documentaries. Museums and parks when we can.

Nice to meet you too! And, I think I looked at your blog recently, because of some comment you left. I can't remember what it was, but I remember thinking, "ooh, I like what she said" and then looking at your blog. But I didn't say hi then. So, hi now! :)

Hi...what a great project. I'm going to get the kids to look with me tonight at your etsy goodies. So nice to meet you! I hope we'll get to visit often.

The Haiti relief sale is over now but I would be happy to donate a sale to Partners In Health again. I don't mean to pressure you into buying, just wanted you to know that if you did and wanted the money to go there, I'd be happy to do that. :)

Check out my favorites on my shop page, there are some really awesome other sellers I've found!
